Surgeon Dr. Afzal Khan (late) .Professor of surgery Khyber Medical College.
He was the only buneri to have done an FRCS (Fellow of Royal College Of Surgeons, Ireland) and an MD.
He also was MSc botany and has written in many medical and scientific Journals. But the quality that most distinguishes him
is his service of the people of buner. He was the mentor of many doctors of buner . Any patient from buner received the best
treatment in his ward at Khyber Teaching Hospital and also used to consult poor patients for free.
